The opening is Thursday evening from 6 to 9 pm, Evelyn the owner throws a great celebration!, so stop by if you are in the area.
Damini says: ” When I found out about the theme of the show, I originally thought I was going to create more traditional piece to fit the Japanese tea ceremony theme. But instead I ended up painting with TEA! I made a gallon of very strong black tea (PG Tips, to be exact) and poured it, brushed it, blew it across the paper, it was great to explore what tea would create.
What came out are these two pieces, one is a smaller elegant stroke and the other is this large “wild beast”.”
