Join sherman mills [ smARTS ] textile artist Pam Pawl for a special weaving class at Peters Valley in Layton, NJ. You might even call it a retreat!
Explore weaving puckers, pleats, tubes, pockets and color blocks. Learn to design, set up and weave on a warp that shows one of the many aspects of double cloth. You’ll be working on both 4 and 8 harness looms using a variety of materials and finishing techniques. You will create many samples to use as future inspiration in this round-robin class.
