Sherman Mills artist, smARTS, glass artist Rachel Shoham has created a 3.5′ x 3.5′ mural made completely of glass . It is kiln fused and painted with glass powders and frits. The work was created for a specific site, Ronald MacDonald House, using the natural light to reflect the quality and reflection of the glass. The subject is family and child. Her goal was to help uplift the spirit of the children undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The glass mural is now installed at the Ronald MacDonald House located on 100 E. Erie Ave. Philadelphia, Pa. 19134.

Humankind Design, Joel Erland and Kate Kaman made the metal and wood frame and helped Rachel install it at the location. Additional art was donated by Nancy Tabas and Debra Simon.
