{smARTS} sherman mills ARTS

Sherman Mills artist MARJORIE GRIGONIS was born in Baltimore, MD, Marjorie Grigonis has lived and worked in Philadelphia for the past twenty years. Her current studio is in Sherman Mills at East Falls. She has been an artist since 1965, when she received her MFA from the University of North Carolina.

Ms.Grigonis was on the fine arts faculty of Rutgers University, the College of Charleston, Charleston, SC, and Middlesex College in Edison, NJ. In 1974 she was a founding member of the Amos Eno Gallery, NYC.

Ms. Grigonis has been a member of 3rd Street Gallery since 1996 and has exhibited widely in one-person and group exhibitions. She was awarded first prize in painting in Art:Pennsylvania,95, State Museum, Harrisburg, PA. In 1992 she was the recipient of a residency at the Vermont Studio School, Johnson, Vermont. Her work is in many collections in the US, and also in UK, Germany, France and Japan. Marjorie’s studio is in Building 32, studio201.
